Split system

I am installing a new heating system in my addition I am going to use a mono flow system in the addition, my question is if I use a mono flow and I put the circulator on the supply can I have my second zone which will be on the second floor of my existing house wich has a standard two pipe system. Will the circulatr still work proerly since it will be pusing the water thru the second floor instead of the normal sucking it back thru the return? I am trying to split my system up since the exsiting boiler was undersized for the main house and it is only three years old. That is why I wanted to add the second floor onto the new system for my addition. Thanks for your help

    sure

most if not all of the guys at this site pump away from the boiler, in other words, we put the pump on the supply side, not the return. Why not zone with your pumps and use two? That way any head issues would be taken care of by sizing your pumps to each zones need.
