Buderus question for Joe
S Ebels
Member Posts: 2,322
About 3-4 times per year, I run into a commercial application that calls for a boiler running on O/D reset along with the ability to provide 170-180* hot water. The hot water temp demand is usually intermittent so the boiler is able to spend relatively long periods of time at the lower temps. I would like to use Buderus controls to accomplish this but the 2107 is limited to DHW temps of 140* or less. Is there a way to get the high DHW temps and still use the 2107 as a base control?

DHW above 140
There is a way to have a domestic tank above 140 degrees. It requires wiring two resitors, and 8k ohm and a 3k ohm into the dhw sensor wires. The result would be as follows; Logamatic setting 130 - actual 149,Logamatic setting 133 - actual 167,Logamatic setting 135 - actual 190.
If you are looking to have a high temp zone that is not priority, please provide what model boiler and we can offer a suggestion. Thanks,0
