Beckett NX Burners

What kind of luck have you been having with the new NX burners? They seem to have a nice fire and test out fine with comb. analyzer but the cad cell doesn't seem to be able to see the fire. Best cad cell reading that I could get was 1200 ohms. R7184p locks out @ 1600 ohms. Too close for me. We seem to be having lockouts after a couple months when turbulator clouds up slightly. ANY IDEAS???

    NX

If I were you I would call Beckett at 1-800-oil-burn and get the rep in your area. They are very helpful and I'm sure would like to know of any problems with their equipment, especially since this is new.

    Beckett NX

I just put a Beckett NX on my own G115/28 direct vent boiler about 3 weeks ago. The NX has a NICE looking flame and has been running great! I will take an ohm reading and post it around 9pm eastern time.
    Thanks,
  • Why is

    the turbulator getting dirty?

    Ohm Reading

The reading I got on the Beckett NX was 480 to 550 Ohms.
The NX has less noise, with the cover on, than the Carlin.I had the Carlin starting to where you had to look at the site glass to see ignition. The Beckett NX ignites just the same. There is a different sound outside. The NX has a "deeper tone" to it. It is not louder, but different than the Carlin. The word from the field has been very positive about the NX. Thanks,
