are best connected with a primary secondary pipe arrangement. You don't want flow through the wood boiler when the gas fired is running, and vice versa.

Plenty of good books at "Books and More" Pumping Away and primary Secondary made easy is where I would spend my dollars first :) Keep in touch.

    we have a customer who purchased a home that uses a hot water wood fired stove tied into newyorker fr boiler. wood stove is tied main to main and return to return to boiler. my boss feels it should be wood stove main to boiler return and boiler main feeding wood stove return.wood stove has 1 1] 1/4 feed and 2] 3/4 returns, is there any info on where we can get piping diagrams no info found on wood stove.thank you mike.
