Gorton air vent

I removed a Gordon vapor equalizing valve #6 just wondering how long have this valve been made. Pat. Pend. on the air vent. 1/8 angle rad. valve.

Gorton has been around

for almost 90 years if I remember correctly. The #6 is still being made.
