in the DC,MD,VA area had their first meeting in a while last night. It was great seeing the old familiar faces and also seeing the new ones. Radiant floors are gaining in popularity and the good contractors are looking for guidance to put them in correctly. RPA is such a good place for them to learn. We will be hosting a Radfest in October on the 10th and 11th. In addition to the trade show stuff there will be classes, Radiant Basic, & Radiant Precision. There will also be an opportunity to take the certification tests. There's nothing better than hoisting a beverage, eating a dinner, and talking with like minded people who are as geeked up about the same things as me. I couldn't get out of the door after it was over there were so many interesting people to talk to. I saw some pictures being taken. Hopefully they will be posted. WW

Any thing we can do to help your chapter acquire information, you only need to call. We are committed to helping the radiant industry gain in popularity and good vibes. The two charts that I posted yesterday are the kind of thing I am talking about. (Aluminum & pH and the cost of scale)

    Wayne,

Nice to see you last night at the meeting. We had contractors from as far away as Richmond, Charlottesville, Baltimore and Annapolis join us last night. Ted Lowe from Ipex joined us all the way from Martha's Vineyard (he was actually in town on business and dropped in for a surprise visit). When I left at 10:30pm, there were still a few diehards at the bar discussing boilers and radiant. A good time was had by all. -DF

    Very Nice!

Yep, I was there and dang glad of it. I was in a back table with thwo new members from Richmond. There was a fouth I did not know at the table behind us. It was great to meet a few new folks and hear some really cool sucess stories!

Radiant is fast becomming the best "new" thing in hydronics. Yes I know it is not new and just how not new it is, but it is bringing the US back into a "comfort" zone and helping them move away from the "cheap as it can be" zone.

It is nice to see America beginning to realize that "good things cost money". That is my favorite saying.
