Lochinvar Double Duty problems

Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with leaking heat exchangers in the Double Duty units. I've had 2 start leaking in the last 2 weeks; one was 2 years old, the other was 1 year. The potable water finds its way out thru the weep holes in the inlet / outlet fittings for the heat exchanger, which means the outer wall of the exchanger tubing is leaking somewhere. Just wanted to know if this is a common thing or a freak occurrence before I install any more of these.
