PRESSURE WOES !!

Hello everyone. It's me again ( the guy whose heater couldn't hold its pressure ). Just wanted everyone to know that the problem with my heater is fixed. I know, just in time for spring (Ha Ha ). Well I had a plumber come and install an Auto-fill valve. Everything looked good until I realized that he installed the valve BEFORE the pipe going to the expansion tank. That's right, when the heater was running , the excess water had nowhere to go ( because the auto-fill valve was blocking its path ). Needless to say, the saftey valve tripped because of the rise in pressure. After numerous phone calls the next day, the guy came and rectified the problem ( he actually admitted his mistake ). All is now running smooth ( keeping fingers crossed ). I guess no one will believe me that the leak in my system was on the drain valve of my expansion tank. ( It must have been so small, I never noticed it ). I just wanted to thank everyone for their input. I've learned a lot about heating systems from all the advice I've gotten on this site. I know if I have a problem in the future, this will be the first place I go. Oh, and I promise to take it easy on Weezbo next time. Thanks for all the help.
