    Taco, recirulation pump 003-PNP

Attached is an instruction sheet, and submittal data information for the Taco, 003 plumb & Plug, with a timer, and 6 ft pig tail to facilitate wiring. The instruction sheet has a diagram of a typical piping layout.

    hot water recirc

When you pipe a hot water recirc you must put a check valve on cold water inlet, I usually use a taco 006 bronze circulator and wire it with out an aquastat so the circulator runs continuously. some guys like to use an aquastat. it has been a while since i have done one the only other thing is an expansion tank i was told to always put one in but recently a contractor friend told me you dont need one the water heater acts as the expansion tank. hope i could help

    Ummm

The only way that water heater will help alleviate expansion is to leave it shut off. Your contractor friend's advice is bad.

now the 003 well it is a small miricale that i have even 006 1/2" ...getting a 003 now That would be trick :) ......run back from th 'T' from the furthest fixture tie the line into the cold water supply to the water heater of your choise put a check on both the hot (recirc) and the cold. cut a 'T' in for an st- 12 or st-15 on the cold water ....good day :)

    Try...

...www.gothotwater.com . You don't need a separate recirc line at all.

    Expansion tank

Oh it (water heater) will act as an expansion tank alright. As it crushes the flue pipe.

I suspect what you friend meant was the well trol tank may act as an expension tank?
If you are on a well system and there are no checks between the well tank and HW tank.
