Lifebreath
Are you referring to main duct line, or branches of flex duct?0 -
Lifebreath
Are you referring to main duct line, or branches of flex duct? As far as the flex duct branches go, there is a minimum of 15', and a max of 25' each. The main duct length depends of the size of unit that you are installing.0 -
I agree
with Gary,It depends on total equivalent length.also in order to find that you have to pick a system operating point.
This can only be done after you know how much air is living the building so you can put back in the same amount of air.
Most of these system come with a fan curve so you can see
what type of cfm you will get at certain esp.
Whats good about these system are they have three different speed, can give you alittle room for error as long as you design around med speed.

why not hire someone who knows how to run the pipe,
size the cfm per room ,make the proper choises of placement of supply and returns, insulate around pipes, seal screw and tape fittings together , balance lengths and correctly size the appliance and distribution system..and work with them ....so you can get a clear idea of what it takes....0
