you'll probably want to drill and tap for 1/4" NPT. Then use a 1/4" to 1/8" bushing.

Cast Iron Steam Radiator Valve Hole Stripped
What is the most simple way to re-thread the hole into which the radiator steam valve screws on a cast Iron radiator? I believe the hole opening is 1/8" in diameter.0 -
1/8\" Pipe tap
You need a 1/8" pipe tap. Turn in the tap1/4 turn clock wise in , then 1/8 turn counter clock out...Continue until threads are redone. This action will prevent the tap from binding ,thus breaking which would suck.....0
