Crane Heating System

This is a repeat message from last week because I did not get a clear answer on it. Our house was built in 1950 with an oil fired Crane boiler and Crane radiant hot water radiant heating system with pipes running just above the ceiling plaster (not impregnated in the ceiling plaster like many homes). The water is pumped through manifolds(radiators) to heat the house, also we have radiators under the concrete slab the house sits on, this under-house system is rarely used because of the astronomical gas costs that would be accrued. My question is has anyone heard of the Crane type system I'm talking about. Incidentally, it was custom designed by someone out of Indianapolis Indiana, for this house.

    is the system

made of small copper tubing running in the ceiling. If it is it could be an old radiant ceiling system...... the basement could be radiant floor and cost alot to run because the did not insolate well when it was installed. the crane might just be the name of the boiler. Is any of this right and can you give any more info or some pics.
