Had tech on service call several days ago and found a bad Thermosatat which is build in to the feed side of the system, Talked to weils tech and was told to pull out the bad T-atat and install a coper cap with a hole punch in it. Stablize the system temp and all was running fine. House was cold from being down for several days but the rad'd were warm to the touch.
Today we get a call from the customer and they tell us house is not warming up and rad's or warm not hot.
My ? is anyone have this problem in the past and can we remove the Copper cap, which we feel is a restriction?
Thanks

Here's the service bulletin for your problem
Read it over and make sure you put the cap in correctly. Also make sure your boiler pump wasn't damaged by the valve failing.
