    Yes.........................

I worked at Glenbrook Industrial Park. It is in Stamford Ct. It is this huge industrial complex that is heated with medium pressure steam around 10psi. Most of the office space is piped in copper fin tube steam baseboard 50 or 60 years ago. Yes, copper fin tube baseboard designed just for steam. A lot of the steam piping in the entire complex is copper. The complex is old, 50 or 60 years old. Yes they got a few leaks hear or there but most of it was back pitched piping or other errors. We repiped a lot of stuff when walls changed and offices moved. It was all done in copper. I have installed copper tubing in boiler steam headers and never once had a call back. I stopped doing it because I was worried about what some other wallies might think of me. I now do my headers in black pipe and have done so in the last five years. I still might do a branch pipe or so in copper on a repair job.
