S Davis,
I have used the product on a new bathroom and the home owners are very happy with the results. The floor is self regulating so there is no need for a T Stat. One of the cool things is you can nail just about anywhere through the heating elemnet, There are two cold leads you have to stay away from. The builder like the fact that it went under the durrock which made it easier for the tile guy.

A couple of questions. You mention self regulating, is this product appropriate for floor warming only which is what I'd like to do, or does it produce enough btu's to be able to remove the baseboard? What about costs to operate? And, about the transformer, does it hum, buzz or otherwise sing any songs? I'd like to park it in a closed cabinet. Any problems with that? Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide.
