A funny thng happened this morning

this morning. I had dropped off my van for maintenance and was walking up the block to wait in a Diner and get breakfast. The traffic light I was walking by turned to green and the first 6 cars revved up and went through the intersection. The 7th vehicle was a little pick up truck which didn't move. I looked closer and the guy was asleep. His head was tilted back and I bet he was sawwing wood like a chain saw. With about 10 cars behind him everyone was being polite and not honking. I walked across the street and lightly tapped on his window. He didn't move. I pantomimed to the drivers behind them that he was asleep and they should honk their horns to wake him up. All 10 cars honked loudly all at once and the guy shot up in his seat looked and the traffic light and looked at me with a puzzled look and then shot through the light which was still green. Everyone behind him grinned large as they passed me by some giving me a wave. I wonder what sleeping beauty thought when he saw me grinning outside his window. Bad dream I guess. :P Happy Friday y'all. WW

I'll bite

One of my old residential customers was just arrested for bank robbery yesterday. This guy use to be a county cop. They (FBI) just linked him to a half dozen other bank holdups as well...Robert O'Connor/NJ

That's one way to lose a customer. Goes to show you never know. I once fixxed the A/C of an cop who was going to jail for the fatal shooting an innocent bystander. His story was his shotgun went off by accident. He was getting things in order (getting the A/C working) for his family the day before he left. You never would have known. He was such a gentleman. I went home the next night and saw him on the news leaving for prison in front of the cameras. My jaw dropped when I saw it was the same guy. I hadn't known and he hadn't said. WW
