Little Red Booster Pump

I've just finished adding the copper pipe and Slant fine baseboard to my basement. I purchased a B&G Little Red booster pump. My problem I'm having problems setting up the thermostat. The thermostat & transformer to control the pump. The pump gets powered but is not being controlled by the thermostat. Is there anything I'm missing ?

a switching relay to control the pump and turn on the burner, or just a plain transformer?0 -
