UNIQUE advertising method

A guy from Omaha put advertising space on his forehead up for bid on eBay. He was paid $37,375 from a company -- SnoreStop -- to advertise their snoring remedy for 30 days. Not a bad way to make a few bucks, eh?

How about you folks -- have you ever used any "unique" means to advertise? i.e. your company name on a plunger or under a toilet seat?

    I believe these people...

are actually allowing the companies to tattoo the advertisements on various places of their body. That's permanent, last I heard? Having "Harley-Davidson" on your arm is one thing - but "Preparation H" on your forehead?
Plumbers could get their company's logo tattooed you-know-where, and get a $5 commision each time they bend over!

We have used plungers for years.

A real eye grabber. Turn a print ad upside down in the newspaper.
We also buy old post cards of the area we service. I am talking a 100 years old. Scan them and convert to B&W and use them as mailers and inserts. The same can be done with pictures from old books.
