boilers & alarm systems

I'm looking for a reliable boiler at least 250MBH that has a self diagnostic system w/ an option for a set of contacts that could be hooked up to an exsisting alarm system. Any advice or experiances would be greatly apreciated.

    Oh, Jimmy!

I got more questions than answers for you. What is this boiler being used for? Do you need steam or hot water? Oil or gas? Why does it have to be at least 250MBH? Do you know the load/heatloss? What kind of alarm system is it? You've come to the right place welcome.Robert O'Connor/NJ

    .

many choices-- alarms -there are call-out devices that will call 4 phone numbers until someone answers with 4 dry contacts ---you can connect 1 to the flame fail alarm,1 for low water,1 for domestic water temp 1 for water on the floor, or sump pump failure /// many options use your imagination 4 switches to connect to whatever you want--the unit will also tell you the room temperature, battery back-up condition, and you can hear the boiler room

The boiler is being used to heat a large home using hot water cast iron radiators and it is natural gas. The total load of the house is 500 MBH and it is presently piped to modulate two boilers. The alarm company is looking for a set of contacts to close. So I am looking for a total of two boilers so that I can utilize existing piping.

Should be an idesl fit. They have something in their control which should do what you need. These boilers work GREAT with cast iron and high mass systems.
