How to level flat base boilers

We install quite a few dry based Burnham RSA series boilers . Unless the floor is absolutely level there is always an unsteadiness to the boiler . Shimming the sides don't seem to help . There's got to be a better way . Our previous steel boiler brand , Thermo Dynamics , had a big lip on each side which made levelling very easy . Any help would be appreciated .

    never done the RSA

But I find that a blank 4x4 utility box cover work's good in most situation's. Cover's a fairly decent area and can be stacked. Is the bottom of the boiler completely flat? Only other thought I have if it is would be to use some furnace cement to try and build the area up. I (don't groan to loud) did use sand under a hydrotherm once. One corner was just a little off and a little sand fixed it up nice. And it's still level after 8 years..:)
  • I'm not sure how flat they are

but almost every one seems to have a low spot right in the middle of the base . Which means you have to shim each of the 4 corners . Next RSA I'm gonna actually look and see if it's totally flat . It's extremely frustrating trying to level these boilers and get them not to rock . Usually we pick one or the other , and I HATE making that choice . Thanks for the ideas Lchmb .
