Cast Iron Radiators

I have quite a few 1 pipe steam radiators that I would like to use in a hot water application. Can I do this? If so, what would I have to do to them? I have been told that I can if I remove the plug at the opposite end of the supply. Any help appreciated. Thanks!!

As long as the sections are connected at the top as well as the bottom there's no problem. Removing the old plugs can be an excercise in patience...
You'll have to plug the old steam vent hole and drill/tap for the air vent (there's usually a flat place on the casting for the air vent).0
