RPA
If your serious about radiant heat you NEED to be a member of the RPA.Nowhere else can you find so many programs specificaly for the radiant heat industry.
A monthly newsletter with informative articles,Training programs,Radiant basics,radiant percision,Certification programs.And more on the way.
For me personally the biggest benifit is attending the national convention.Picture this,a few hundred radiant heating professionals all together in one place with interesting and informative seminars going on ALL day! It's worth the price alone to be able to network with all these other guys from around the country.I can honestly say I've learned a great deal and made some lasting friendships attending.
I could go on,but I'm on my way to the accountant, taxes again
One other thing,If your a member of the PHCC there is a discount in membership.0 -
organizations that recognize the individual....
and not a bunch of "Policies" is the mark of an open evolving community, things that smack of more government and blotting out the individual i would in no way condone or even wish to be associated with, from what i can determine the RPA is very much tuned to this century and is comprised of individuals that are promoting the betterment of the hydronic, space conditioning,IAQ,quality construction practices,a variety of heat sources and distribution methods of btu's to maximize the economical use of resources with open lines of communication and educational and reasearch developement of the younger up and comming crowd of future contributors of similar work in the communities we call home . i find the people who respond to inquires to be polite and with a depth of understanding of various aspects quite like this very community .....perhaps this site has some slightly stronger slant on some things and some well, tougher or say less inclined to worry over small digs or concernes on losing any political credulity.Dont get me wrong many of the very people who answer inquiries here Are members of RPA and are probably the individuals who are more certain of thier skills abilities and knowledge.for the most part this is my opinion not Gods opinion so take it as my slant on the truth.i am here more as comic relife for these guys *~/:) at least as far as i can tell:)0
