Expansion Tank

I am upgrading (due to frozen burst) from a WM 68(?) to a WM WTGO 3 boiler using a 3 zone valve water system. The circulator was before boiler on the return line and I moved it to after the boiler on the supply line as recommended. The expansion tank is after the circulator on the supply line; my question is: Does the expansion tank need to also be moved? to either before the circulator or directly off the boiler

WAS: circulator > boiler > Air purger w/expansion tank and air eliminator

NOW: Boiler w/ air eliminator > circulator > Air Purger w/ expansion tank and air eliminator

Also, can the the old burner be used on the WTGO 3?

    Burner selection

It depends, if you are using the Riello or Carlin ez1 yes. If its an AFG, then you may need to change the airtube and endcone. You should also change the control to pre-post purge. I would always use a new burner that matches the specs. If not you may spend more time than its worth trying to get it right.
