    I've used both and I lean toward the taco. I like the ease of adding in a reset control and the timer for domestic priority. I also like the smooth cover for using labels or company stickers. Both brands have worked equally reliable for us.

    The Honeywell R8889 series...

    controls up 3 or four zone valves, provides hot water priority, and can be ganged together for up to 16 zones. Works with Honeywell or Taco valves, compatible with any thermostat.. Available from any Honeywell distributor. Check it out at http;//hbctechlit.honeywell.com. Just type in the R8889, no charge and no password required.
