in THE MAIN WALL
glen can you give me direction/ i wk for local gas utility/i had a cont install a in5 last jan i had water hammer problems/ add chemicals /slim boiler seemed to do trick now
2 fl rad spitting water and gurgles boiler goes off on pressure bef that rad gets hot ater next cycle it gets hot im having con come to look at it what dir should go never changed rad can it be pitch problem /can boiler be oversized and im pushing wet steam

    Is the radiator that spits water out the vent getting hot? I would immediately suspect that it is not pitched back towards the supply. What pressure are you running in this installation? Have you changed the vent? Lots of possible reasons for this happening. Let's see if we can narrow the possible ones down a bit. Let me know.

    rad gets hot 2.5 cut out/ im using hoffman valves in rad/ rad noisy like its got water in it/change air val same cond

    Check the pitch

    I would check the pitch on the radiator. Also turning down the pressure wouldn't be a bad idea either. Let me know what you find.

    Yes

    Most steam systems like working on lower pressures. The steam moves through the system more efficiently.
