How much flow
does the SS need? What pipe size is used?
The Phase 3 40-gallon indirects we use work great with a 007.

0010
A 007 usually works well, but to get as advertised ratings a 0010 is required, with 1" piping. However, depending on the home owners' usage, they may not notice the difference between the two circs.0 -
That's why....
I really prefer the Grundfos 15-58. kpc

Check the pump curves:
My catalog says the 45 gallon superstor needs 10 gpm @ 7.9 ft of head to get full output. Add in the pressure drop for other components such as that zone valve, other valves, piping, boiler, etc and you probably need about 12 feet of head at 10 gpm. At that flow rate, the 0010 will only give you 8--9 feet of head: The 007 will give you 7 feet.
So neither pump will give you the recommended volume, but you probably can do ok with the 0010. An 0012 or 0014 would be right in there.
