if its a 1 pipe systeam are they pitched upwards toward the air vents, maybe the middle of rad is sagging and collecting condensate, have you tried running system minus the vents to see if they start to heat up

steam rads not heating - gurling when drained
I am not a steam guy...but, i have a job where 2 rads on opposite ends of the main do not heat up. The rest of the rads in the middle do heat up...just not the two on the ends. When i drain the system, the to end rads gurgle.
The piping is concealed and not visible. HELP!!!!0 -
hey Ed
As I have stated a number of times we dont't do much steam out here in the Minniapple, how does a single pipe steam radiator heat without the vent???? Must be missing something?0 -
