English Isle humor is different

Like us here in the States, it depends on what part of our country you are in. Scottish, Irish and English jokes are just different. Must be our common language, which we need to have translated in order to understand what is being said and to capture the subtle word choices.

Yes George your correct.

It's said that us Brits like ironick humor, but I'm not so sure, I think most people just like funny jokes and my above jokes are not that funny.
The important thing is just to have a laugh, but please always remember, to laugh with and not at someone.

I loved the late Benny Hill humor

A little sassy, but always worth a smile or an outright chuckle. Also the vet show, All things big and small (I guess that was the name) I had a friend from England who's Father went to school with the Vet those stories were taken from.

Some of his stories about his Father were great also.
One in particular about a pregnant cat owned by a spinster lady who was too embarrassed to discuss her cat's condition with his Father. Called his Mother and had her write it all down so she would not have to have the conversation with his Dad.
