Wirsbo question

I'm looking at an infloor system that has multiple manifolds, individual zones using telestats. Some zones are overheating, the digital thermostat(s) will be satisified and the light on the zone relay will go out but these particular zones are still heating. These are the rectangular telestats on wirsbo brass manifolds. I have replaces some telestats that were broken(plastic piece under brass collar broke). I followed the directions, tightening brass collar until the dot lines up with the arrow. Can the valve itself go bad? Any other thoughts?

    A few things

Could be worn seats or valve stem assemblies, could be junk in the seats, could be flowing the wrong way, could be mis-adjusted MVA's, could have stats wired to the wrong zones, etc. The best bet is to have a pro look it over. Try the find a contractor link or call our customer relations team to find a contractor in your area.

I am a heating contractor, just not too familiar w/ wirsbo. My supplier carries a dfferent radiant line. I was referred to this job by a friend. Apparently the installer was unable to do anything w/ this and now won't come back.

    Telestats

For the most part telestats fail open , not always but most of the time. It sounds like youve got telestats stuck, so when any T-Stat is calling for heat circulation is going through failed telastat causing overheat.
