In your book you mention using infrared heat detectors for finding steam leaks.How is this best done?Just scan the pipes during a normal cycle or what?I found a thermographer alright but I don't think he's experienced in finding steam leaks.Plumbers with this expensive equipment are hard to come by.I'd really like to save this system.

I don't think I said infrared
All you need to measure is temperature. Get a Raytek MiniTemp . Point and shoot.Retired and loving it.0
