    The King Of Late Night

It is a sad day, Johnny Carson was a great man who made me laugh almost nightly. I will miss him dearly.

That is when late night was great. One thing about Carson and his times was that he could get a couchful of really big stars on the same night. Letterman and Leno usually have one star per night and not much else. Maybe it's the latter-day egos. The sight of Dean Martin, Bob Hope, George Goebbels and Rickels on the same show was an awesome show. Not to mention Sinatra Dangerfield. Johnny was and is sorely missed.
