Mupro pipe clamps, Great stuff!!

I have been using Mupro pipe clamps for a few months now and I must say that they are a joy to work with. I like the fact that you can bring the clamp a good distance off the wall and still have a secure hold on the pipe. The clamps are sound isolated, and Mupro has a good selection of channel sizes and nifty wall hanger brackets.

    Thanks

for taking the time to share. I'm always looking for better ways to clamp pipes and make things look better. Do you have a web site or number in case I want to find some. WW

  • Nice lookin job

GREAT layout Jake! Did you put the board togeather at the shop or fabricate on site?

I wish my local supplier carried those hangers:-( I really like the rubber isolation gromets. Reminds me of the hangers I use to use on the 688 submarines. Scilences vibrations very effectively. The end caps on the strut really makes it look professional. So, what are you going to hook all that up to?

Thank You, I built this board on site. The sound isolation was the origanal reason I looked into the Mupro clamps. I didnt want my customers hearing the harmonics of the pumps in the middle of the night. Whats nice is I am saving fittings and labor by bringing the clamp to the pipe. Before, if a pipe was ,say, 2/1/8 inches off the wall, I would have to use two 45s to get it to the stut for clamping. Now I cut threaded rod to the correct size and clamp the pipe in its place. I have Mupro's rod cutter which makes simple work of what used to be a total "grind".

Nice Job!! I've been using Mupro for 8 years and recommend them to all. Now you know why. Mupro can be reached at www.muprousa.com They do have an 800 number. Ask for Leo Pirito.
