2\" TRV's?

Does anyone know a distributor that has large diameter TRV's? The pipes running into my rads are either 1 1/2 or 2". I'd like to add TRV's in the future, but all I have found are up to 1".

Largest I've seen are 1¼" (Oventrop, Danfoss and likely others).

The good thing is that those rads most likely don't need more flow than can be provided by even a ¾" valve.

The bad thing is that you'll need some piping modifications to use the TRVs. Eccentric reducing couplings would come in VERY handy if the pipes are coming up through the floor and have little or no "play" to compensate for the increased center-to-center distance when you reduce the size of the riser. No need to reduce the return side connection at least.

    Honeywell/sparco

Just used the V8000 series high capacity valves. 1', 1-1/4" and 1-1/2" sizes. Work great, good CV ratings also. Good luck, Tim

    Pipe sizes

That's really large... Not sure if you know but boiler piping is based on the internal diameter of the pipe.
