thread about water temp. curious as to what the down side is to running Pex @ 200*. Thanks

Hate to see
any tube run up against it's upper limits. Regular pex gets very soft and pliable at 180 and up. Needs to be well supported and plenty of expansion room. I worry about the fittings when it runs this hot and possibly pulls on the fitting, if not properly supported.
Also the higher the operating temperature the higher the rate of O2 ingress :0
