we installed this boiler a year and a couple months ago all the sudden 1 section around the rear lower gasket started leaking. we have put in a bunch of these and this has never happened before. my question is has this ever happened to anyone else and if i cant get it to stop by cranking on the drawing rods will a chemical boiler leak seal harm the gaskets? thanks in advance any advise is greatly appreciated. jim murtaugh

Base hit ll.
get some base hit 2 .,twisting on through bolts is something to consider early in the day,the longer you wait the more likely rust and oxidization will occur,i dont want to tell manufactures how to do thier work however,ehm...2 cents worth of catapillar antiseize compound on bolts and nut threads sure would be a great idea.0 -
thanks
i use will use some antisiez on the bolts what about chemical leak sealers any thoughts?0 -
Nice weld up job. How do you get that much light it the boiler room?? Ours could not be pumped in if we tried.0 -

I've put a lot of these boilers in. Only had 2 with problems. 1 had a pin hole in the section [what a pain to change mid section], the other was a gasket that got pinched. If you are pulling the jacket, and the leak is on the end section I'd change the gasket. Then if all else fails add the boiler seal. Manufactures don't like to see that stuff, in warranty claims. Also, in the picture I didn't see any swing joints for expansion ?0 -
light
this is a block room with a big glass block window in it and a full size door just to the east of this 4 story building no stairs nice huh.0
