downfire a buderus

I was wondering with buderus g115-28 can I put .70 nozzle
on the burner instead of a .80 downfire in 10% or will this cause condensing and and make it's combustion chamber to cold to expel the gasses of combustion I know some boilers you can down fire but not by much

thanks

    Hello Roosterboy!!
It is not recommended to down fire a Buderus boiler. Because the boiler sections form the chamber and there is no liner, down firing can cause un-even heating, thermal stress on the sections and combustion issues. Is this question to try and reduce the short cycling?
    Thanks,

thanks Joe yea I wired both my zones to one t-stat today

and the boiler has been running good and both zones heat ok no more short cycle nice good 10 min runs.

im getting the 2107 in a few week anyway because I am going to dump the heating out of my hydro air and use the buderus panel rads with my 2107 out door reset.

also I am adding new windows to my house this will make my heat load less but the house will be more even heat most of my friends houses use one t-stat I am going to have to also.

talk to you in a few weeks Joe when my 2107 comes in
looking forward to your help in programming it for hydro air

    thanks
