  • You can add

a jumper wire between the hot connectors going to each circulator in the relay . Although I'm not exactly following what you're trying to do Rooster ?

If you connect the 2 pumps to the same 110vac output of the Taco, they'll work at the same time. But then you don't need the Taco at all, if the boiler has an output to which you can connect both the pumps. If the zones need differnt run times, you won't be able to heat them equally if they are wired together.

I have a Taco 503 (three relays), and I set it up so that if zone 1 calls, both zones 1 and 2 will run, but if zone 2 calls, only zone 2 runs. This needs all three relays. I did this to reduce micro-loading (zone 2 is small) and the resulting short-cycling. It's not difficult, but you need a bit of hobby-level wiring experience.

how about I do this take out the sr502

on my 2109 put terminal 61 and 63 and wire it to my 2 taco 007 together take my t-stat and put it on tt then flick my dip switch in the 2109 so my cerc pumps run for ten min after a call for heat
this way here im running a 50,000 btu load on a call for heat instead of 20 at a time

dose this should like it will work the pump draw less then a 1 amp each and I think the max on 61 and 63 is 5 amp so I should be fine

    2 pumps 1 thermostat

I don't know why the boiler is short cycling, but if you want to energize both pumps with 1 thermostat simply wire the TT terminals in a parallel

all set I made a pigtail on both pumps and put it on pump one with 1 t-stat and the boiler never reaches high limit so far.

but since I have hydro air I need to put a strap on aquastat on my coil so I don't get cold air when the boiler starts.

then I will dump the sr502 and put both pumps on my 2109 and connect them to 61 and 63 and put my t-stat on tt
so both my pumps can run 10 mins after a call for heat

    thanks guys
