Not Steam'n In New Jersey!

Jamie_6

Here are some of the pictures from the New Jersey job I was talking about last week.

The boiler is only 3 years old and has the following problems;

The boiler is rated @ 800 EDR & the house needs 1225.

The header is too close to the water line.

The header has 1 riser to handle 4 branches, which are connected with bull nose tees.

All the radiators are vented and the mains are not.

Fun, Fun, Fun!!!!!

    It's a piece of modern art

    Keep it steaming, and good luck with the fun piping arrangement.

    god bless

    God bless you jamie i live in jersey and i have to say over the years i,ve seen so many piped like that it makes me sick and what,s even better is most of the ho want them to work right but really don,t want to pay the piper to get it right just from what i see over 20 years in the business but you never know maybe times are changing but i know some plumbers who still use copper on steam and still don,t follow manafactors pipe spec and still put there pumps on the return and all say it doesn,t make a difference that it will still work .Good luck and peace you know it's going to work better then before peace clammy
