furnas on my one-line steam system

The furnace on my system does not run long enough to get the steam to second floor radiators. Pressuretrol is set at .05 bottom and thermostat anticipator set at high, about 9. What is my solution? No professionals found within 100 miles.

    Diff.?

What's the differential set at, should be 1.5#, little wheel inside the pa404a if that's what you have. I think your problem is air not getting out of the mains quick enough. You could also just have plugged rad vents or closed rad valves although the valve is pretty obvious. I would take a rad vent off upstairs and carefully see if air come out when the boiler is turned on.

    2 nd floor problem

I could write pages about what I did to fix problem like the one that you have. But all I could write is allready written in "The lost art of steam heating" by Dan Holohan.Believe me it will save you a lot of money. Good Luck. Stephan
