on Firefox to replace Internet Explorer. It solved some irritating problems I was having with my home computer.

It was easy and quick. Better yet it works great

    Thanks for the note, George!

For now, Firefox and its bretheren are the browsers of choice. Perhaps MS will fix its glaring security issues, but I'm not holding my breath. After all, security has been an ongoing issue over in Redmond.

Now if we could only convince all users to adopt a) standards-compliant browsers like Firefox and b) have web-sites punish those that don't... Well, I can dream...

    Firefox

I like the simpler look and feel of Firefox. And it allows text to be enlarged on sites that won't allow it in IE.
Still experienting on settings to permit keeping track of messages read on some forums. Works on some, not on others.
    Eperimenting with tabs now.

    Tabs are the bees-knees...

... open 10 messages in a forum like this one and start reading while the rest load... no more waiting...

... the only thing I miss in safari/firefox, is the ability to print the URL in the header of a page. It makes getting back to info a bit more troublesome.

I too have been using Firefox for a few weeks now and have been happy.
