Size of postings?

Some post's are very wide and require repeated right-left scrolling,in order to view or read. Can someone tell me how to display these post's so they will fit the screen? Thank's, Fred

    Hmmm...

... I know of no browser that will force HTML content to render at a certain width, regardless of images and other things that are wider.

Ultimately, we're usually best off teaching each other on how to reduce the size of images using applications like Irfanview and only posting the smaller images to the Wall. This also helps Dan and those that have dialup connections (less transfer vs. faster render speed). I usually keep my images below 600 pixels wide, with 500 being the norm to keep things legible yet small.

I wish I had a better answer, but as far as I know, you're at the mercy of everyone that posts to the wall. Any posting in a thread can "break" the boundaries that Dan and the folks have set at Invision (which hosts this forum). Educating your fellow Wallies is the key to solving your reading pain.

    Thank You Constantin

Thank you for the information, I usually assume it is my lack of knowledge regarding these issues and programs.
I do not post very often, however, I read and learn a lot on the "Wall". Your post's are professional and enlightening.

    Its all about

    the photos.

I used to be able to size my photos before I saved them but with the Windows XP version I don't get that option. I would love to know how to size them for the wall. For now I don't clic the view attachment box.

It to bad because I like to show a photo without having to clic on it.

    Scott

Here is a neat piece of software:

IMHO, Irfanview is the best freeware viewer, resizer, etc. out there. Simply fire it up, change the size of the pic you want to be viewable, save to disk, upload & attach to your post, and you're done.
