Rotting Solder????

I have a client whose business is renting hot tub use by the hour. I have been there many times replacing bearing housings, couplers, boiler, etc... I have noticed pretty much all the solder joints have rotted or decomposed. I do know the system is about 25 years old. It is done with heat exchangers in each tub room. Also I do know there is an air seperator but installed in the wrong place to be truly useful. So if anyone has seen a problem similar to this or knows why this may be happening I would sure apreciate the input...
Thanks

pool side or boiler side of heat x??
If pool side, seen chlorine problems many times on copper near joints. Chemicals sometime go off balance and this happens quite often on apps like this.0 -
Not on pool side
The problem is on the boiler side of the heat exchangers. I dont think it's a chlorine issue unless there is a break in one of the heat exchangers.I would then assume we would have bigger problems or atleast evidence of it. Thank you Tim for the local reply.0
