Once again the talking heads put down the Pats for not having enough stars. Too many injuries, Indy has 7 recievers, Tom who? Peyton ,Peyton ,Peyton that's all we've heard up here for the last week. To be sure his records are impressive. Ther's only one stat that matters though and that's W's.
Three trips to the super bowl in 10 years , maybe another this year. Most wins in a row ever. 20 Wins at home in a row. Hope they all think Pittsburg is the bomb as well , can't stop the Bus (they said that couple years ago too).

The Bus actually had a pretty easy day,today, didn't hardly use him in the 4th Q.
Pitt. won the frist meeting and the Bus only had 65 yards, look for him to double that next week.

Looking for the Eagles to win also, and have an all Pa. Super Bowl!!!

Anyway who cares!!!! Next Sun. I'll be watching the games while floating along on the Disney Magic, and the kids will be having the time of their life zooming down a two story water slide 10 stories above the water.......in light of that I'm not too sure that I'll really care WHO wins!!!!

What do you mean

you get the shaft? Almost every talking head I heard before the game was saying how impressive the Colts offense was, but was picking the Pats the win. You guys don't know how to deal with the success your sports teams are having, (except the Celts) Red Sox and Pats both Champs (How are the Bruins doing?). I predict a repeat for the Pats this year. I hope for a more competitive game to watch next week though. Last night turned into a snoozer.

Mr. Brady is the first QB you could mention in the same

sentence as Mr. Montana. I was living out west in N. California during his hey day and Mr. Brady reminds me of him in many ways.

The Pats also have a solid defense, which is the name of the game at this time of year.

What I see is the similarity of "grace under pressure".
Also his deadly accuracy and being able to pick up the 2nd and 3rd receiver. I for one would not be surprised to see
them win the whole thing.

When Boomer said, "Peyton Manning may be the Dan Marino of our time". I thought Marino was going to come uncorked right there on the spot. His eyebrows went up and his jaw torqued a couple times........... He looked like he took it as an insult when Boomer was just saying that these were two extremely good QB's that never won a Super Bowl.

Ego's.....they get in the way of a lot of things.

The east coast press did the same

thing when the 49'ers played Miami in the Super Bowl. I gave Miami and 9 points and got 3 to 1 on my money. Needless to say you can see why I like Montana. It was a very liquid payday when I collected my money.

Marino was very good, but he did not have the rest of the team. Brady has excellent talent around him on both sides of the ball.

Interesting, how history repeats itself.

The Colts had a Great offensive line. We had a really hard time getting in on him. MAnning just dosn'nt have the team around him. If thye had stuck to the screen play it would have been a different game.

It's tough to bet against the Pats -- they're just too darn solid. But my heart is with the Steelers (sorry Scotty). So I'll go with my heart and say Steelers 17 -- Pats 16; but my head says Pats 24 -- Steelers 13.
