Munchkin

I was wondering if anyone else out there was getting slammed by the gas companys for using Munchkin boilers.
Heres what happened:
3 days ago I lost a primary pump on a radiant system so the customer having gas work done by the gas company the day before called them back because she thought it would be there responsibility. They emidiatly told her that it was the boilers fault because the boiler read an error code of F-05 which is over heating on the supply. I got there and had to listen to a frantic customer about how she herd the boiler was a piece of junk. I finnaly settled her done and told her what the problem was and she was fine with me changing the circulator. The problem was blown up for nothing .Am I the only one who gets this crap from an ignorant gas company? There lack of nolidge shouldnt reflect my boiler . This isnt the first time its happenedd to me. I've had to go and help gas companys out to get the boilers were they need to be .Arnt they suppose to be trained in this field?

    Let's see now...

You've installed a piece of equipment that reduces the custoemrs gas bill by 30 to 50% and the fuel supplier doesn't understand the operation of said equipment.

Putting yourself in THEIR shoes, wouldn't you agree that it's a peice of crap?

Remember th theory that if you don't understand it, or don't like it, it's a P.O.C.

I used to do the same thing with German boilers when I was an American boiler only dealer...

Maybe you should report this to the Customer Service manger for the gas company. Maybe line them up with the folks at HTP. You could form a new alliance.
