From what I figure from a 1870 Crane , 2 row x 15 at 33.5" hight = 30 square feet Comes to 2 square feet pre section, 2sf / 33.5" h=.06sf per inch- hight per section or sf = .06 x h x section. Should be in the ball park....0 -

Might be a Nason, Reed or Bundy

The name of the manufacturer was normally cast somewhere on the base. It might not match the model name, for example the Bundy was made by A.A. Griffing Ironworks and I believe the Reed was made by the H.B. Smith Co.
