Just saw this boiler on a site the other day, oil fired. Customer wants to know if it is convertible to gas. ?? anyone know. My literature does not show this boiler. It is probably 7 or 8 years old. I will check with Burnham later but thought someone might know here. Thanks Tim

    Tim,

    This boiler was designed for and is intended to operate with oil. No testing of any sort has been done with gas burners on this boiler. If anyone chooses to equip this boiler with a gas burner, they must abide by the required controls and safety devices neccessary for gas equipment. Hope this helps.

    Thanks Glenn for the answer.

    I would be concerned about the small firebox volume any way with gas in this boiler. Also this is only approved for oil, correct????

    It was designed, tested and certified for oil.
