    Does anyone know

    the maximum distance the fresh air pipe can be run for the BF5 ? I'm planning on a horizontal run about 8 to 10 feet , using PVC to within 2 feet of the burner . Then I'll transition to a flexible dryer vent with the special draft regulator in there somewhere . I might have to double 45 the PVC to get around a wall also . Thanks for any help .

    be fine with 10 feet. In fact some direct vent mfg.( I realize that you are not doing a direct vent) suggest that if you have very cold temps outside that you should run at least 10 feet to warm up the intake air. I have heard of some problems as of late associated with low temps and direct intakes due to cold intake air....kpc
