Buderus Heating Curve Adjustments

If the 2107 controller is programmed with a REFERENCE TEMP of 140* "boiler temp" for 14* "outside temp" and then I switch to HTG CURVE 1 to read three points on the boiler temp curve, the boiler temp is 153* for 14* outside temp. Why are the temperatures different at 14*?

    14 degrees F

is equal to -10 degrees Celsius, which is where Buderus starts the low point of its design curve.

    Hope this helps,

    I know,

because they "americanized" the manual, so we would be dealing with a temperature scale we are used to.

    If the

REF. TEMP is set to some value at 14*F, then I would think the value read at 14*F using HTG CURVE 1 should be the same. What am I missing???

    actually......

The heating curve is based on several factors. The reference temp is one point, the day and night temp are another and the offset is a third point. Although it can be complicated at least you can check the curve each time you change one of the parameters.
