I know this forum is supposed to be a heat but I have a plumbing question I looked at a job at commercial building pool.it holds 90,000 gallons when they drain it it goes to a sump pump then get discharged to a 4 inch pipe.what happens when they discharge it it comes back up through the toilets floor drains etc.the pump is at the end of the run of fixtures is the formula for gallons to see if 4 inch is good enough for that.if not should we get the line jetted try that or run the drain all the way to 4 inch coming in the build first.

simple.
send the waste water out the building with a Y then a backwater valve. I have no idea the size of the sump pump however that would not allow the water to back into the building in the event the water doesnt shoot out the sewer fast enough. *~/:) the other fixtures are protected by the back flow valve and the sump water shoots out the pipe into the streetmain ..that is really a way to roll.strange it wasnt piped that way in the first place.0
