I live in a 1926 apartment building in nyc. we are in the midst of a renovation and I need help in answering the following question: I have a stainless steel towel radiator rated with a 10 bar pressure max. The website says it is not suitable for use on a domestic hot water system. The sales people said it is not for use on a steam system. I bought it with steam in mind. I have installed one before and had no problems. Is 10 bar pressure acceptable for a steam system?

10 bars
I think that's about 150PSI, see if any of the scuba divers comments. The issue as to steam use is how does it get rid of the air and condensate and do you want a thin pipe in a bath to be over 200 degrees?0 -
Bar to PSI
10 Bar is 145 PSI - That's high!0
